We understand that security is very important to our customers. Although we cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality of data transmitted over the public Internet, we encrypt all data transmissions between your computer and our data center using the strongest-available, industry-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocols. Your messages to us are not decrypted until they are inside our firewall.
To access the Credit Card Account Access site, you must use a browser that supports 128-bit security. See
Browser Requirements to determine which
browsers we support.
Personal IDs and Passwords
Personal IDs are used as a means of identifying cardmembers, and are not encrypted information. On the other hand, for security reasons, Passwords are encrypted and are known only to the user. No one will ever need to know your Password, and you should never furnish it to anyone who claims to represent Elan Financial Services. Together, your Personal ID and Password add to the security of the Credit Card Account Access website. If you forget your Personal ID or Password, you may reset them online.
For your security, only the last four digits of your account number appear on-screen.
As a safety precaution, after fifteen minutes of inactivity we will terminate your secured session for you. If your session is terminated before you have completed your transactions, simply return to the login page.
When you have finished your session, be sure to log out by clicking the "Log Out" link. It is also a good idea to close your browser after you log out and clear your browser history occasionally to ensure that your information is cleared from your browser's memory.
As an additional security measure, we prevent pages containing your private
information from being saved on your computer's hard drive. You may receive error
messages from your browser requiring you to click "reload" or "refresh" to go back
and forward in your sessions when you use your browser's back or forward buttons.
Simply follow the instructions to access the last page you visited.
Security Involves You
You play an important role in protecting your security. Above all, maintain the secrecy of your Password.
Never tell anyone your Password or write it down in a place where it could be associated with your Personal
ID. If you think that someone else may have access to your Password, please contact Cardmember Service
immediately. It is a good idea to change your Password often (you can do this anytime by going to the
"Profile" section and choosing "Change Password").
